Large Antique KPM B e rlin porcelain plaque set in and old hand carved giltwood wood frame Artist signed , marked, 100% handpainted, excellent condition, Signed : A. Painted after original painting by Artist - MAKART. Offered this very large and rare top quality Painting on Porcelain KPM plaque. The subject is "Bathsheba Bathing" after MAKART. Bathsheba was the wife of Uriah the Hittite. Art Nouveau painting done with amazing detail by a great artist R. Mhild and is signed at the lower right side at the front of the plaque--see photos. The plaque is fully marked on the back with impressed KPM and scepter and numbers inceased into the porcelain - see photos for more details. Very bright colors, appealing to the eye.
