Antique 18thC KPM Berlin Osiris Porcelain Figurine Porzellan Figur Egyptian God
A figurine of a man made by KPM around the late 18th century. He is very nicely modeled with lots of details including a cloak, a nice belt and a scepter in his hand.
The figurine is in great condition with a tiny bit of wear and the tip of the scepter in his hand is restored. The piece is 5.125 inches tall and the base is 1.5 inches square. The figurine is marked underneath with the late 18th century under glaze blue scepter mark and in the back of the base you can see the name Osiris lightly incised. Not sure what this piece has in common with the Egyptian god!
