A stunning piece with some nice history attached to it. The plate has the royal cypher of Wilhelm I (Wilhelm Rex) of the House of Hohenzollern without the crown so before he was King or later on Kaiser (Emperor) of Germany. He was the prince of Prussia during this time.
The plate is 1.125 inches tall and 10.625 inches in diameter. It is marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter mark as well as the red orb and the royal cypher above it as well as a painter's mark and the usual impressed marks one finds on KPM pieces from this period. Amazingly the plate is in perfect condition! Koenig König Royal German Germany 19th century.
