Antique 20thC KPM Berlin Porcelain Weichmalerei Floral Plate Porzellan Teller
A really nice plate made by KPM in the early 20th century. It is hand painted with three different flower arrangements along the edge of the well as well as a nice gold trim on the edge on relief work. The flowers are painted in the Weichmalerei style using the softer colors which makes these look very real. A very popular field of collecting these days!
The plate is 1.375 inches tall and 9.5 inches in diameter so a very nice size. It is in superb condition with some very minimal use wear. The piece is marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter as well as the red orb mark, a gilder's or painter's mark and the usual impressed marks of the period.
