Antique German KPM Porcelain Covered Bowl with Cherub Putti Handle Finial

For Sale is a beautiful Antique, 1913, KPM Royal Manufacturing Co. Berlin, Porcelain Tureen with a Cherub/Putti Finial, holding a grape bunch. The piece has a lovely floral and butterfly motif and the handles are molded and painted as vines/branches with applied porcelain flowers and leave on each side of the handle. The upper exterior of the tureen and lower portion of the lid have a molded basket weave pattern and each rim is accented with gold gilt.

The bottom is stamped with the Royal Porcelain Co. The bottom of the tureen also has a hand painted 11/1 and the inner lid has the same matching, hand painted number. There are also additional incised marks on the bottom of the tureen. With the lid on, it measures approx. 9" to the top of the finial x 10" across (including the handles) x 7-1/8 across the top opening.

It's in magnificent antique condition and I did not notice any nicks along the flowers or leaves and if there are any then they are minuscule. This piece is guaranteed to be old and authentic and looks as though it was never used. Thank you for looking and please be sure to take a look at our other items!
