Antique German Porcelain Bisque KPM Lady Woman Figurine Figure
This piece is nothing short of breathtaking. One of the most exquisite and high quality figurines I have had the pleasure of owning. Her beautiful face is so realistically painted, it almost looks like an oil painting itself. Beautiful pastel coloring with touches of gold imbued throughout.
This piece was made by KPM Berlin, but I'm not sure exactly when. My guess is definitely pre 1900.
It is in very good condition considering its age. There is some wear to quite a few of the gold dots, and I have noted three small chips, all of which I have photographed. The first is to her pinky finger of the hand that holds the fan.
The next is to the edge of the fan itself. The third is to the edge of her collar, towards the back. All are very minor and in my opinion do not draw away from the extraordinary beauty of this piece.
