Porcelain stein with a colored lithophane. This stein stands 7.5 tall and is 1/2L in size. This stein features a colorful front scene of a cavalier and a barmaid. Both sides of the stein have fancy German verse in old script.
The old lid has professionally engraved on the rim Carl Albinus 7t, Marz, 1888 - making this stein 131 years old! The lithophane in the bottom of this stein is a uncommon colored lithophane. It looks like something went wrong in the firing of the litho because some of the colors didn't come out (see picture of black in areas). The litho is intact, it's just the coloring is not all there. The pewter strap is a little loose allowing some play side to side in the lid.
There are no chips or cracks to this stein - very nice!
