DESCRIPTION : Here is a very good quality and finely painted mid to late 19th century hand painted porcelain plaque of a seated young female by Frans Till on a KPM Berlin porcelain blank. The plaque is of a seated young female with an open book on her lap. She is seated on a red plush chair with a wooden side table to the left. She is wearing a fine white dress with a gold brooch to the center of the shoulder straps and has a watch on her left wrist. The plaque is in a gilt metal frame which clips the plaque in by the series of teeth at the back. The plaque is signed Fr. Till to the right outer rim close to the red plush chair. The back of the plaque has a pencil inscription but is probably in German which i can not read. The lower half of the plaque has a painted Fr.

Till over Dresden with an impressed scepter and KPM (Berlin) below. SIZE : The porcelain plaque measures 7 1/4 inches high and 5 1/2 inches at widest point. Weighs 323 g before packing. CONDITION : The porcelain plaque is in excellent condition and has no issues.
