Antique KPM Berlin Porcelain Leaf Dish Kaiser Wilhelm II Royal Porzellan Teller

A plate made by KPM in the late 19th century (1891 to be exact) for Kaiser Wilhelm II. It is part of the famous Preußen Service aka Prussian Royal Table Service and has a nice leaf shape to it likely for serving small items like candy or baked goods. It is a nicely hand painted with three orange floral arrangements, a gold trim on a basket weave design along the edge, has a nice branch handle to one side ending in gilded leaves and the best part being the center which has an orange design to it including the Prussian eagle holding an orb and a scepter while wearing a tiny gold crown and the letters / monogram FR on its chest. FR stands for Fredericus Rex , Friedrich I King of Prussia - one of the most famous Kings of Germany before it was actually Germany. Another larger crown on top of the central design. The dish is in great condition with some wear to the gilding along the edge with a small spot of the edge ground downs a tiny bit to hide a firing flaw. That does not take away from the piece and was done at the factory. The piece is 2.375 inches tall at the handle, about 8.75 inches long and 7.25 inches wide.

It's hard to find pieces like this from a royal service as they were much rarer than plates or cups. The dish is marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter, the red orb as well as various artist and impressed marks and off course the cypher for Kaiser Wilhelm II in red with the year 1891 under it.
