ANTIQUE 19th CENTURY MINIATURE MADONNA & CHILD KPM PORCELAIN ICON PAINTING & STUNNING FRAME. A stunning hand painted Miniature Porcelain Portrait in Amazing Ornate Brass Frame - c19th Century. An absolutely stunning antique hand painted porcelain miniature plaque of a Mother and Child set within a fabulous highly decorative and intricate triptych frame with hinged doors which can be opened and closed as shown.

There are carved, incised crosses found on both doors with climbing rose vines seen. Arched porcelain plaque depicting The Madonna & Child after Raphael.

Measuring approximately 4" tall and 2 /34" wide - not including the ornate framing. The plaque is set within an absolutely stunning frame with engraved decorations to the front doors, spires to the sides and the top and with hinged doors and a tiny knob. To the rear of the frame there is a sliding brass plate to the back of the plaque and a tripod stand for display. There is also a ring for hanging.

The miniature hand painted portrait dates to c1850 - 1900. There are impressed marks'834' on the back of the porcelain plaque and believed to be a KPM Berlin porcelain plaque due to the intricate beauty and quality of the painting. This beautiful plaque is absolutely stunning and of a superb quality. Guaranteed to be antique and original as described.
