Circa 1820-1830 KPM Porcelain Reticulated Basket Hand Painted Floral Decoration
This is a beautiful KPM porcelain reticulated basket with hand-painted floral decoration. The handled basket measures approximately 9-3/4" long, overall, from handle to handle x 8-5/8" wide x 3-1/4 high to the top of the handles.
The handle connectors are decorated with leaves and berries. The crisply reticulated basket is decorated with green stripes and tiny floral accents. The interior of the basket shows beautifully hand-painted floral sprigs and spray. The basket is in absolutely beautiful estate condition with NO cracks, NO repairs, and NO restorations.
One interior leaf connector shows two very tiny tip losses, as shown in the close-up photo. The over-glaze paint decoration shows age appropriate wear, most noticeable on the handles, as shown in the photos. This beautiful 19th century KPM reticulated porcelain basket would bes an outstanding addition to any collection. It comes from an old estate collection that we are continuing to list.
