Exquisite KPM Porcelain Plaque in beautiful Antique Frame Excellent Condition

Exquisite mid-19th century KPM Porcelain Plague in Beautiful Antique Frame. The plaque is in excellent condition. There is one small piece missing from the lower left corner of the frame, and some age cracks in the frame. Very heavy and original sculpted frame that beautifully accentuates the plaque. Frame is 18" X 15" X 2 1/2. Description from Registered Appraiser done in 1988: K. PORCELAIN PLAQUE - An exceptionally fine hand painted porcelain plaque made by the K.

The subject of the painting is a nude woman lying in an ornate bed with a hovering angel pulling off her gown. The are brilliant blue drapes in the background and a red dress beside the bed. The painting is signed - Ens in the lower right corner. The plaque measures 7 1/2" X 10".
