SUPERB 19thC KPM DRESDEN COUPLE PORTRAIT ENAMEL EAGLE FINIAL URNS VASES C. 1878

Founded in 1751 by Wilhelm Casper Wegely, he was given permission by the King of Prussia Frederick II to open a porcelain factory in Berlin. In 1757 Wegely closes his factory & sells the stock, tools & materials. In 1761 Johann Ernst Gotzkowsky, buys secret porcelain formular from Ernst Heinrich Reichard who used to work for Wegely.

& the factory goes by the name of KPM. Some damage on one wing.. And the other has the wing re attatched see all photos.. No problems on the urns just the lids.. And beautiful 13.5 Inches tall set of 2.
