Here is a spectacular cabinet plate, hand painted in the 19th century by KPM. It is very large and showy at 10 3/8 inches wide. The mark on the back of the plate indicates that it was made between 1849 and 1870.

It also has an impressed M and a 4. It is scalloped and has a rococo design with gold, soft green and blush pink accents. There are no chips or damage to the plate at all with little or no gold wear. I have personally had it for 40 years and has always been in cabinet.

The painting itself is of a variety of colorful flowers and a beautiful butterfly looking for a place to rest. Please notice the border because the soft green and blush pink accents really add to the plate.

On the inner rim of gold there are a couple spots that the gold is darker, not missing but maybe rubbed. Please look at all photos and blow up as they are a huge part of the description and show dimensions. I have been collecting any and everything beautiful for as long as I can remember. Jewelry, China, Glass, Silver etc. Its time to let some go to be loved by a new owner.
