Antique 18th cent. Ceramic KPM figure Greek god Endymion, sceptre mark 1763-1780

A KPM figural of the god Endymion recumbent with dog and staff on pedestal with pillow. He was known for being asleep. Other 19th cent ceramics depict this greek god with a staff and a dog, for example Meissen and Derby figurals. Marked with blue under glaze scepter mark on base.
