Antique 18thC KPM Berlin Porcelain Scenic Cup Porzellan Tasse Szene Scene German

A cup made by KPM around 1780. KPM used no painters mark like the red orb yet during this period thus you only have the blue scepter and impressed marks most of the time.

It is hand painted with a superb scene in black inside a gold circle with a bow and floral garland on the top as well as some scattered small flowers and a nice gold trim. The cup even has the flower on the inside bottom which is a sure sign of quality. Nice handle shape and gold trim to the handle.

The scene is top quality and I guess are harbor type scenes with a water element in the front an old castle in the background on the cup. The cup displays well but has a hairline to the left side of the scene as shown and a bit of gold wear. The cup is 1.875 inches tall and 3.125 inches in diameter. It is marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter and an impressed 15 or ls or something along those lines. Germany Szene Szenentasse 18th century.
