Antique 18thC KPM Berlin Porcelain Scenic Cup & Saucer Porzellan Tasse Scene

For sale is a great cup and saucer set made by KPM in the late 18th century. KPM used no painters mark like the red orb yet during this period thus you only have the blue scepter and impressed marks most of the time. The set is hand painted with a really nice scene in sepia / brown tones and some superb gilding surrounding the scenes with a gold ring to the rims as well as the handle of the cup. The scenes are very detailed - the one on the saucer includes a sailboat, a little bridge, two people as well as some buildings and "greenery". The one on the cup has a nice lake scene to it including some people, buildings and "greenery". The cup is 2.375 inches tall with a diameter of 2.5 inches and the saucer is 1.125 inches tall and 5 inches in diameter. Both are marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter mark as well as some kind of impressed mark on the foot ring of the saucer that looks like two lines which is a size indicator they used in the late 18th century and a number under the cup plus a gilder's mark 3 under the cup.

The set is in perfect condition with a tiny bit of wear to the gold trim on the very edge and a firing spot to the inside of the cup as shown. Unterteller Untertasse German Germany Szene Szenentasse.
