Antique 19thC KPM Porcelain Armorial Monogram Pipe Bowl Porzellan Pfeife Wappen
A porcelain pipe bowl made in Germany in the early to mid 19th century. The bowl is hand painted with what an armorial to the front including this funny little man to the top part. It has its metal mounts still attached. Not sure if they are silver or silverplate since they are so oxidized but they are in good condition and could be cleaned. The piece holding the lid closed is bent as shown.

There is a monogram to the top of the lid of a low nobility crown over the letters MCO I think. The pipe is in great condition with wear to the gilding of the armorial and some fine scratches to the glaze of the white area but it displays well and is a nice early example and an unusual shape. It was heavily smoked and is dirty on the inside. Maybe someone knows this armorial and we could figure out the original owner. The pipe is unmarked as to the maker of the porcelain.

It is 5.125 inches tall and 1.5 inches in diameter and 2.875 inches deep. Pfeifenstummel Pfeifenkopf German Germany Szene.
