A nice reticulated plate made by KPM in the early 20th century. The plate is hand painted in under glaze blue (hence no red orb mark yet) with their famous strawflower pattern with a nice ribbed design to the paste to the edge of the well and a fancy reticulated rim highlighted with some blue trim. If you look closely you see the butterfly hovering over the flowers in the center. That is my favorite part of the design!
The piece is in perfect condition! It is 0.875 inches tall and 7.625 inches in diameter.
It is marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter mark as shown with a letter (I think) above it. On the foot ring for the blue painter's mark and the usual impressed marks normal to this period.
