Antique Ens & Greiner GERMAN PORCELAIN PLAQUE Hutschenreuther KPM
HAND PAINTED GERMAN PORCELAIN PLAQUE. The plaque measures 8½ " x 5¾". The painting was wonderfully executed by the well-known German Ens & Greiner, Lauscha art studio. The plaque is impressed "324", which references the size of the plaque and the fact that it was manufactured by Hutschenreuther. Style and quality are typical of German porcelain plaques of the late 19th century. The dealer sticker on the back indicating the plaque was made in France is obviously erroneous. I guarantee this plaque to be 100% authentic, 100 years old or older, and completely hand painted (not a transfer)!
Plaque: 8½ " x 5¾ " (21,59 cm x 14,605 cm). This wonderfully decorated portrait plaque is in EXCELLENT condition with a beautiful original glaze. There are NO chips, cracks, scratches or repairs. However, there is one noticeable glaze flake and several very small glaze flakes along the right edge of the plaque (see photos) caused by the removal of the plaque from its original frame. Any other white spots or lines in the photographs are from the flash and are not damage.
