A plate made by KPM in 1918. It was hand painted in the Art Nouveau or Jugendstil style with a scene of Luther's Door in Wittenberg where Martin Luther nailed his 95 theses. The rim is nicely done as well not being the boring old kind but a bit wavy. The plate is in perfect condition. It is 7.875 inches in diameter and marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter, the red orb mark, the black iron cross of the first world war, the number 50/75 in black, an artist mark of a green leaf and a black L, the impressed letter R with three dots around it and another impressed mark that might be 1S.
