Antique KPM Berlin Porcelain Figurine Figure Porzellan Figur German Germany
A nice figurine made by KPM around 1800. KPM used no painters mark like the red orb yet during this period thus you only have the blue scepter and impressed marks most of the time. The figurine is of a young man or boy with a basket of grapes next to him presumably resting after a long day of picking grapes. It is a very nicely modeled piece hand painted to perfection.
One tiny end of one bow is missing as well as one grape leaf being damaged in the basket but he displays superbly and really is in great shape! The figurine is 5.75 inches tall, 3.5 inches wide and 3.25 inches deep. It is marked with the under glaze blue scepter mark underneath as shown with an impressed letter D. 18thC 19thC 18th 19th century.
