Antique KPM Dish, Plate, Shell Shaped, Art Nouveau
This porcelain plate or dish was produced in Germany by the Royal Porcelain Manufactory, Berlin, or KPM in 1912. It is 8 ½ inches long and 8 ¼ inches wide. The dish is shaped like a scallop shell. It has a mottled blue ground color. There is hand gilding of flowers and a butterfly along with other sponged on accents.
It was difficult to get the exact shade of blue, even with editing. CONDITION: Some of the gilding has minor wear.
