The Berlin Porcelain Factory was known for producing plaques decorated with copies after original paintings by Old Masters etc. The Berlin porcelain factory is known for producing plaques decorated with paintings after Friedrich August Von Kaulbach, but he wouldn't have worked at the factory and as the back of the plaque states the picture is of Lady Hamilton after Romney.

It is unlikely that he would have had anything todo with its production. He might possibly have owned it hence his name on the reverse, but this is speculation.
