Antique KPM Hand Painted Portrait Plaque of Woman Head Scarf & Cross Necklace

This a an amazing K. M portrait plaque of a woman wearing a headdress and a large holy cross necklace. The plaque is marked with the K.

Initials and scepter, as well as the number 2. The KPM and scepter mark indicate it was made between 1837 -1844. The "2" indicates the size of the plaque which is 5 1/2" x 4".
