Antique KPM Porcelain Lidded Pokal or Humpen with German Symbols and Phrases

KPM Porcelain lidded pokal or humpen with German symbols and phrases on 3 sides of the vessel. The first displays the armorial bearing of the Prussian or German empire with the German phrase translated to "A glass with a friend is well intended". The second displays the armorial bearing of the state of Saxony with the phrase After the day's sweat, I'm rewarded a cold drink. " and the third armorial bearing is not recognized, but the phrase below translates to "Also the tired are benefited, when in the evening the sun sets, that he goes within (himself) and thinks, where one dispenses a good one.

The bottom bears the KPM mark with the blue scepter and red orb, with the letters KPM and a hand-written "8". The pokal or humpen measures approximately 12 3/4 tall to the top of porcelain finial. KPM porcelain wares are desirable, especially the hand-painted plaques by collectors, but KPM also manufactured beer steins and pokals, such as this example.

There is a small chip to the edge of the lid, but the body is in mint condition.
