An exceptional porcelain plaque KPM Style porcelain plaque titled KONOGIN LOUISE nach RICHTER. Unsigned by the artist; backside impressed 15, and marked KONOGIN LOUISE nach RICHTER. Ornate gilt metal frame and glass with metal loop for displaying.
The oval portrait is 3-1/2" L x 2-3/4". W; the entire piece measures 6" L x 3" W. The porcelain portrait displays beautifully and in excellent condition. NO chips, nicks, cracks, hairlines, crazing, scratches, or repairs. The glass has a few light marks as seen in the photos. Both the frame and the portrait are guaranteed to be original antiques and not modern reproductions.The couple's happy, though short-lived, marriage produced nine children, including the future monarchs Frederick William IV of Prussia and German Emperor Wilhelm I.
