A superb saucer made by KPM during the Art Nouveau / Jugendstil period in the early 20th century. The scene was done by one of their best painter's of this period. The saucer is hand painted with a scene in the center including a colorful parrot sitting on a nice branch. Simple gold trim to the edge. One does not come across saucers with this sort of design of this quality often from this period!Sadly no cup but there is always hope : The saucer is in perfect condition. It is 1.125 inches tall and 4.75 inches in diameter and marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter, the red orb mark as well as the usual black numbers, artists marks and impressed marks as shown.
