Antique Royal 1912 KPM Berlin Porcelain Plate Monogram Porzellan Teller King
A plate made by KPM in 1912 for the personal use of Kaiser Wilhelm II and his first wife Augusta. A nice made piece with the rim having a basket weave design to it called the Osier relief with three single flowers hand painted on it and a gold trim to the edge. The center of the plate has a hand painted floral arrangement in it with the main flower being some sort of pink daisy type flower with a purple and yellow pansy under it and three butterflies around the arrangement. A very elegant plate with a nice provenance. The plate is in superb condition with some minor use marks and a tiny bit of wear to the gold trim. The piece is 1 inch tall and has a diameter of just under 8.375 inches. It is marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter, the red orb as well as some artist marks and impressed marks common to these pieces. And off course the WA under a crown monogram and the year 1912 under that. German Royalty Germany 20thC 20th century Kaiserin Monogramm cypher.
