A set of six plates made by KPM in the early 20th century. They are hand painted with a small flower in the center as well as three large floral arrangements on the rim and three small flowers in between. An amazing raised gold trim in between and along the rim.
This style of design is called Neuzierat and it is quite popular even today and we can all see why! The plates are much harder to find than even the cups and saucers and one rarely sees a set of them.
All are marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter mark as well as the red orb and the usual painter's and impressed marks of this period. And all are in perfect condition which is nice : A spot of oxidation to the gilding here and there which is normal. They are 1 inch tall and about 7.5 inches in diameter.
