Antique Vienna Porcelain Hand Painted Trinket Dish Equestrian / Horses

Hand painted hard paste porcelain trinket dish in an attractive fluted six sided shape. Featuring a central panel with two horses and a man holding the reins, in a romanticised setting. The border is a deep cobalt blue with gilded swirls and sprigs. The base bears the blue'Beehive' mark of Josef Vater, whose factory decorated these wares in the latter half of the 19th Century. The dimensions are; 15 cm Long x 10 cm Wide x 3 cm Deep.
