Art Nouveau KPM Berlin Porcelain Apricot Scene Plate Porzellan Jugenstil Teller
A fun plate made by KPM in the beginning of the 20th century during the Art Nouveau or Jugendstil period. The plate has a neat reticulated edge highlighted with gold and the center has a hand painted fruit scene including three Apricots and their shadows. The plate is in great condition with a few knife marks from use. The piece is 1.25 inches tall and 7.375 inches in diameter. It is marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter as well as the red orb mark, the word Aprikose and the usual painter's, gilder's and impressed marks as shown.
