Art Nouveau KPM Berlin Porcelain Yellow Espresso Cup & Saucer Porzellan Tasse

A cup and saucer made by KPM in the early 20th century during the Art Nouveau or Jugendstil period. Either for mocha coffee or espresso. Both pieces have a yellow ground color with a white ring to the top and bottom / rim with the cup having a nice hand painted rose arrangement on the front surrounded by a black floral design.

Quite elegant and not something you see often at all. The set is marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter mark as well as the red orb and various painted and impressed marks. Both pieces are in perfect condition. There is one tiny greenish stray paint spot over the rose scene on the cup.

The cup is just over 1.75 inches tall and 1.875 inches in diameter. The saucer is 0.75 inches tall and 3.75 inches in diameter.
