Berlin Kpm Style Porcelain Portrait Plaque Queen Louise 100% Hand Painted

BERLIN KPM STYLE PORCELAIN PORTRAIT PLAQUE QUEEN LOUISE 100% HAND PAINTED. The original painting hangs today in the Wallraf-Richartz Museum in Cologne, Germany. It is an oval shape plaque sitting in bronze dore easel type frame and is very well painted (it is 100% hand painted) by a very skilled artist. There is also a circular eye on the back of the frame so it could be hung on a wall if desired. I find no other identifying makings on the plaque other than what is shown in my photos of the plaque.

The words Konigin (Queen) Louise nach. Richter are in hand-painted script on the back of the plaque. I also do not see any artist signature on the front side of the plaque. Regardless, it is a finely and skillfully painted antique porcelain plaque.

A strikingly beautiful plaque in great original condition! I do my best to describe all items as accurately as possible and to the best of my ability. Some of my photos may be somewhat lighter or darker than actual to better show detail or color.

Please look closely at the photos as they are an important part of my description of this item. Everything appears to me to be original and intact.

I see no chips, flea bites, cracks, hairlines or repairs to the porcelain and no evidence of use or wear to the porcelain. All I will mention is some tarnish to the metal frame as well as some light signs of use to the backside of the frame that are consistent with the age of the frame. Please keep in mind the photos may be blown up at least 8-10 times normal, so anything you see will look 8-10 times bigger in the photos than it really is.

Please note: if you see a dark spot in the photos it is from my camera and is not a mark on the piece. It will be either just to the right of center towards the bottom or slightly above center on the right side of the photo.

The visible part of the porcelain plaque itself in the frame is about 3.3125 (8.4 cm) top to bottom by about 2.625 (6.6 cm) left to right. The frame is about 4.5 (11.4 cm) tall by about 3.25 (8.3 cm) wide and about 1 (2.5 cm) in overall thickness. About 4.625 ounces (133 grams) including the frame. On heavier items I will also offer a less expensive option, if available.
