Fun Antique 19thC KPM Berlin Porcelain Biedermeier Cup Porzellan Tasse German

A nice cup made by KPM in the early 19th century during the Biedermeier period. It was made before they used their red orb mark thus you only have the blue scepter and impressed marks / painter's mark (which is the case here) most of the time.

The style of the cup is really very sleek and typical for this period. The piece is hand painted with a ring of lilac flowers in purple and white with their leaves all around as well as some gold trim. The inside of the cup is gilded as well except for the very bottom! The cup is in great condition with just some very minor wear to the gilding mostly to the very bottom of the inside of the cup.

The cup is 3 inches tall including the handle and 2.75 inches in diameter. It is marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter mark as well as a painter's mark and some impressed numbers as shown.
