Great Art Nouveau KPM Berlin Porcelain Bird Scene Plate Porzellan Teller Scenic

A superb Art Nouveau period plate made by KPM in the early 20th century. The plate is hand painted with a pair of snipe birds walking in a landscape background but my favorite part is that the rim is decorated in the Jugendstil style with raised gold scrolls and a slightly greenish color between the scrolls.

A truly superb plate and it is in great condition with a minor scratch or two. The plate is 1.125 inches tall and 9.625 inches in diameter. It is marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter as well as the red orb mark, a 4. And the usual impressed marks of the period.
