KPM Berlin Hand Painted Frederick The Great Empire Form Cup & Saucer Nice antique late 19th / early 20th century footed empire form cup and saucer. The cup is decorated with a hand painted portrait of Frederick the Great framed in gold gilding.

The cup has a gold floral and gold band border on the inside of the lip. The saucer has the same gold border. Marked on the bottom with the hand painted underglaze blue scepter mark used by KPM Berlin.

Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition. The cup measures approximately 3 3/4 inches wide including the handle x 4 1/4 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 5 3/8 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
