A really nice plate made by KPM in the early 20th century. It is hand painted with a superb flower design in the center of two anemones with a flower bud and some other small flowers and a couple of leaves. The rim has a nice reticulated design to it with gilding in between. It a really nice looking plate!
The Weichmalerei colors KPM used during this period are among the best ever in my view! The plate is in perfect condition which is always nice.
The piece is 7.75 inches in diameter and 1.125 inches tall. The plate is marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter, the red orb mark, two artist's marks and the usual impressed marks of this period.
