KPM Berlin Porcelain Watteau Cobalt & Gold Scenic Plate Porzellan Teller Scene B

A nice plate made by KPM in the early 20th century. The plate is hand painted with a superb Watteau scene in the center including a gentleman playing the guitar (or something along those lines) and a lady reading a book in a landscape surrounding. My favorite part is the cobalt blue rim with the fancy gilding to it just makes the plate "pop". The plate is in perfect condition with the tiniest of gold wear. It is about 8.125 inches in diameter and 1.375 inches tall. The piece is marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter as well as the red orb mark, a gilt letter D as well as the usual impressed marks. 20thC antique German Germany Szenenteller Kobaltblau Watteauszene Szene.
