Beautiful Hand Painted German Porcelain Plaque.'Wintermärchen'' ("Winter") after Wilhelm Kray Artist Signed H. The painting depicts 3 partially clad maidens reclining in an ethereal winter wonderland. The plaque is superbly detailed and well-executed, and is signed H. Kray in the lower left. The plaque measures 10" x 8" and is framed in a relatively new 13" x 11" gilded wood frame. The plaque is impressed on the back with a post-1904 Hutschenreuther shield and crown mark, along with a 3-digit number code (illegible). Only the very bottom of the shield is clearly visible. I have instead carefully created an opening in the back so that the mark may be viewed.

I still have the original photos of the back of the plaque and will gladly provide them upon request. I personally guarantee this plaque to be 100% authentic, approximately 93 years old, and completely hand painted (not a transfer)! I do not ever sell fake transfer plaques. All plaques are from my own personal collection and have been in my possession for over 15 years. Plaque: 10 " x 8" (25,4 cm x 20,32 cm).

Frame: 13" x 11" (33,02 cm x 27,94 cm). This wonderfully decorated portrait plaque is in EXCELLENT condition with a beautiful original glaze. There are NO chips, cracks, scratches or repairs.

I detected no condition issues whatsoever with the plaque itself. Any white spots or lines in the photographs are from the flash and are not damage. The modern frame is in excellent condition with no issues.
