Magnificent Rare Monumental 19thC KPM Plaque Reflection Wagner/Asti-22 Frame

Spectacular and very rare large antique KPM portrait plaque in gorgeous gilt gesso Art Nouveau/Aesthetic frame! Signed by the sought after "Wagner" and depicts a lovely raven-haired maiden after Angelo Asti's "Reflection".

Beautifully hand-painted oval porcelain plaque measures 13 1/2" by 11 1/8"; Antique original gilt frame measures 22" by 17 1/4". Incised KPM scepter mark (see pics) with "Reflexion" and "Germany" on the back.

Dates to the late 19th Century with exquisite, finely done details. Porcelain plaque in pristine condition (see pics) with no chips, scratches or cracks. Displays beautifully with colors that are still vivid and vibrant.

Possible very light age-related surface wear, but virtually flawless. Any haziness you might see in the pictures is merely reflection of light; Any white flecks you see are merely dust. The antique gilt frame is in very good condition with several older, small losses to the gesso and minor craquelure. The frame is likely original to this piece and retains its original antique patina.
