Nice KPM Berlin Porcelain Neuzierat Floral & Raised Gold Plate Porzellan Teller
A plate made by KPM in the early 20th century. It is hand painted with a small flower in the center as well as three large floral arrangements on the rim and three small flowers in between. An amazing raised gold trim in between and along the rim. This style of design is called Neuzierat and it is quite popular even today. The plates are much harder to find than even the cups and saucers! The piece is marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter mark as well as the red orb and the usual painter's and impressed marks of this period. It is in great condition with a small chip to the foot ring. The plate is 1 inch tall and 7.375 inches in diameter.
