Pair of Antique KPM Cabinet Plates Fruit with Gold Rim Germany 8.5mid1800s

This is a pair of beautiful KPM gold encrusted porcelain plates. Each hand painted with ripe fruit the rim with rocaille-molded gilt cartouches. Blue Sceptre and Iron-Red Orb marking. The first features green and black/red grapes and a peach. The delicacy, depth and detail of the painting is incredible. This item is beautiful and is in excellent condition! The second features an open pear, cherries and some other fruit. It has a crack that cannot be seen from the front, but has damaged the patina on the back. Small discoloration on the front.

Both are 8.5 across. Plate with Raised Gold Border Art Nouveau Porzellan Teller. The KPM factory produced some of the finest hand painted porcelain in the world.

These plates are beautiful examples with masterfully painted finely detailed realistic fruit scenes in vibrant colors. Art nouveau raised border decoration in brushed Florentine gold.
