This passion was also shared by Frederick the Great, the Prussian King who gave the Königliche Porzellan-Manufactur its name and its symbol: the Royal Blue Sceptre. In Keeping with an age-old tradition, this porcelain is still shaped by hand and artistically painted in Berlin. Designed in 1765 by Johan Baptist Pedrozzi for KPM.
