Rare Antique KPM Zodiac Porcelain Figurine'Januario' by Friedrich Elias Meyer

Wonderful antique hand-painted porcelain figurine representing January - a boy blowing on his fingers in the cold - which I believe it from KPM's'Zodiac' series which was designed by legendary German sculptor Friedrich Elias Meyer in 1775... Date of this model uncertain but probably made sometime in the late 18th or early 19th century.

Unusual because a lot of these figures are blanc de chine and not painted in colours. This one is richly patterned and painted and very detailed.

Is spelled out on the back of the base and there are some symbols on the side which I think relate to the zodiac sign, presumably aquarius. Condition: left hand has been chipped off - not obvious at first.

There is some very old paper stuck to the side of the right leg. Looks as if it could be soaked off - and not sure if it represents a mend?
